Common use of Roof Warranty Clause in Contracts

Roof Warranty. Contractor shall ensure the roof and its components are warrantied by the roofing manufacturer against water intrusion, leaks, and defects for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date a CO/TCO/CC is issued for the Work, unless otherwise explicitly documented on the Architect’s Certificate of Substantial Completion, fully executed by Owner, Architect, and Contractor. The warranty given in this Section 19.3 is in addition to all other warranties given hereunder or implied by Applicable Law.
