Room Block Agreement Clause Samples

A Room Block Agreement is a contractual provision that reserves a specified number of hotel rooms for a group or event at a predetermined rate and for a set period. This clause outlines the number of rooms held, the dates of stay, and any deadlines for confirming or releasing unused rooms, often including terms for attrition or penalties if the group fails to meet minimum occupancy. Its core practical function is to guarantee room availability and pricing for event organizers while providing the hotel with predictable occupancy and revenue.
