Routine Network Modifications do not include: the construction of a new loop or new transport; installation of new aerial or buried cable; splicing cable at any location other than an existing splice point or at any location where a splice enclosure is not already present; securing permits, rights-of-way, or building access arrangements; constructing and/or placing new manholes, handholes, poles, ducts or conduits; installing new terminals or terminal enclosure (e.g., controlled environmental vaults, huts, or cabinets); or providing new space or power for requesting carriers; or removing or reconfiguring packetized transmission facility. CenturyLink is not obligated to perform these and other similar activities for QuantumShift.
