Common use of Rule of Speciality Clause in Contracts

Rule of Speciality. 1. A person who has been extradited under this Treaty shall not be detained, prosecuted or tried for any offence committed before extradition other than that for which extradition has been granted, nor extradited to a third State for any offence, except in any of the following circumstances:
