Safe Environment. Contractor acknowledges and agrees that Owner is committed to providing for the safety and well-being of its youth, its elderly and aged, and its disabled. Contractor represents and warrants that all persons affiliated or associated with the Contractor who have access to the Premises by virtue of this Agreement, shall meet the minimum level 2 screening requirements of Section 435.04, Florida Statutes, and Contractor shall perform all necessary background investigations to endure such compliance. If Owner is not satisfied that this requirement has been met, Owner may request that Contractor or any person affiliated with Contractor be prohibited from accessing the Premises, and Contractor shall immediately vacate the Premises or prohibit such person in violation from accessing the Premises. Contractor shall be strictly liable for any injury, loss and/or damage to any person, and shall indemnify and hold Owner harmless from any claims, resulting from Contractor’s failure to comply with these requirements.

To that end, any employee complaint concerning a health or safety problem shall be immediately referred to the employee’s Supervisor and the Safety Officer.

Safe Environment. 1. In recognition of the importance of employee safety and health, the Board agrees to provide the appropriate recognized standards of workplace sanitation, cleanliness, light, and noise control, adequate heating and ventilation. The Board of Education agrees to eliminate recognized hazards that are likely to cause serious physical harm.
2. If the Union believes a situation has arisen that is likely to cause serious physical harm, it may bring it to the attention of the Chancellor or designee who shall immediately assess the situation, including onsite inspection where appropriate, and take such action as the Chancellor deems appropriate. In the event the Union seeks to contest the Chancellor’s determination, it may exercise its statutory rights under New York State Labor Law Section 27a (PESH) or other legal authority.
3. The Board will issue a circular advising staff of their rights under PESH and other applicable law and post the notices required by law.
Safe Environment. (a) The Rotation Hospital shall assess the residential living quarters to ensure that the accommodation is safe having regard for all the circumstances including the circumstances of the individual Doctor.
(b) A safety assessment will consider matters including but not limited to:
(i) any equipment, appliances and furniture;
(ii) hygiene and cleanliness;
(iii) security including any security risk arising from isolation and/or shared accommodation.

Customer will ensure that the location where AT&T installs, maintains or provides Services (“Site”) is a suitable and safe working environment, free of any substance or material that poses an unreasonable risk to health, safety or property or whose use, transport, storage, handling, disposal or release is regulated by any law related to pollution, to protection of air, water or soil or to health and safety. If AT&T encounters hazardous materials, AT&T may terminate any affected component of a Service (“Service Component”) or suspend performance.
Safe Environment. Where applicable, adopter will provide a secure fenced yard, with ample room for outdoor exercise. If fencing needs repair or modification in order to ensure the safety and well-being of the Dog, you agree to make any necessary repairs prior to allowing Adoptee access to the yard. You agree to maintain the security of the fencing in the future to further secure the Dog. Adopter understands that gardeners, pool men, contractors and utility workers are not responsible for the safety of the Dog, therefore adoptee must be kept indoors when workmen have access to the yard.

2. A representative of the Union shall maintain a seat on the Medical Center’s Safety Committee.
