Common use of Safeguarding PHI Clause in Contracts

Safeguarding PHI. The Business Associate shall develop, implement, maintain and use appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to prevent the improper use or disclosure of any PHI received from or on behalf of the Covered Entity for any purpose other than those expressly permitted under the Agreement.

Safeguarding PHI. The Business Associate shall develop, implement, maintain and use appropriate agrees to implement administrative, physical, and technical and physical safeguards to that appropriately prevent the improper use or disclosure of any the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the PHI received from that it creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of the Covered Entity for any purpose to prevent use or disclosure of PHI other than those expressly permitted under the Agreementas provided for by this BAA or as required by State or Federal law, regulation, or rule.
