Common use of Salary/Benefits Funding Clause in Contracts

Salary/Benefits Funding. All expenditures for salaries and/or fringe benefits required by this contract are subject to the availability of legislatively appropriated or authorized funds. Such subjects shall be reopened in the event the legislature provides additional funds for such specific purposes or in the event of inadequate funding. Implementation of any salary or benefit adjustment provided for in this agreement shall be consistent with and contingent upon legislative appropriation or authorization and with any subsequent modification thereto.
