Common use of Sale by the Landlord Clause in Contracts

Sale by the Landlord. If the Landlord transfers or disposes of all or any part of the Building or the Landlord’s interest under this Lease, then to the extent that the transferee or disposee agrees with the Landlord to assume its obligations under this Lease, the Landlord will be released from them, except for existing defaults as of the date of the transfer or disposition.
