Common use of Sale of Project Water For Use Outside Service Area Clause in Contracts

Sale of Project Water For Use Outside Service Area. (1) If in any year a contractor has been allocated annual entitlement that it will not use within its service area, the contractor has not elected to store project water in accordance with the provisions of subdivision (c) of this article during that year, and the contractor has not elected to carry over entitlement water from the prior year pursuant to the provisions of Article 12(e), the contractor may sell such annual entitlement for use outside its service area in accordance with the following provisions.
