Common use of Sale or Transfer of Premises Clause in Contracts

Sale or Transfer of Premises. If Landlord sells or transfers all or any portion of the Premises or the Building, on consummation of the sale or transfer, Landlord shall be released from any liability thereafter accruing under this Lease if Landlord's successor has assumed in writing Landlord's obligations under this Lease and Landlord has transferred the Security Deposit to Landlord's successor.

Sale or Transfer of Premises. If Landlord sells or transfers all or any portion of the Premises or the BuildingPremises, Landlord, on consummation of the sale or transfer, Landlord shall be released from any liability thereafter accruing under this Lease if Landlord's successor has assumed in writing Lease, provided that the purchaser expressly assumes Landlord's obligations under this Lease and hereunder, Landlord has transferred the Security Deposit to Landlord's successorshall provide Tenant with written notice of such transfer.
