Sale Type. Scaled Products Sale (flat rate method). The payment as established by the Price per Unit in Section 1.4 shall be based on sawtimber, cordwood, or piece product volume as measured by product dimensions. The price paid per board feet, cord or piece is a flat rate regardless of the quality, final destination, or use of the cut product. The volume shall be measured by a Seller approved third party scaling organization and in accordance with the Westside log scaling and grading rules and Xxxxxxxx Volume Table, revised July 1, 1972, contained in the Northwest Log Rules Eastside and Westside Log Scaling Handbook (developed and produced by the Northwest Log Rules Advisory Group), and in effect on the date of confirmation of this contract.
