Samples and Testing of Proposed Substitutions; Costs of Adapting to Work. 16 When the District’s Representative or Architect determines that samples and testing are required to evaluate a 17 request for a substitution, the District’s Representative shall so advise the Entity, and specify the materials or 18 work to be sampled. The Entity shall, at no cost to the District, provide samples as required by Article 9, 19 dealing with samples and testing, or the technical specifications. 20 21 The Entity shall bear all costs of sampling and testing required to decide a request for substitution. 22
