Samples of Materials and Workmanship. a) The Contractor shall allow for providing at his own expense and submit to the Director of Works, for his approval, as he may require, samples for all specified materials which he proposes to incorporate into the Works. b) The approved samples shall remain in the custody of the Director of Works and all subsequent work and materials shall be equal to the approved samples in every respect. c) Approved samples shall be returned to the Contractor upon completion of the Works.
