Common use of Sanctions Compliance Clause in Contracts

Sanctions Compliance. No Covered Entity is a Sanctioned Person. No borrowing under this Agreement, nor the proceeds from any borrowing under this Agreement, will be used by the Borrower directly or, to the knowledge of the Borrower, indirectly, (i) to fund any activity or business in any Sanctioned Country, (ii) to the knowledge of the Borrower, to fund any activity or business of any Sanctioned Person or (iii) in any manner that would result in the violation of any Sanctions applicable to any party hereto.

Sanctions Compliance. No Covered Entity is a Sanctioned Person. No borrowing under this Agreement, nor the proceeds from any borrowing under this Agreement, will be used by the Borrower directly or, to the knowledge of the BorrowerServicer, indirectly, (i) to fund any activity or business in any Sanctioned Country, (ii) to the knowledge of the BorrowerServicer, to fund any activity or business of any Sanctioned Person or (iii) in any manner that would result in the violation of any Sanctions applicable to any party hereto.
