Common use of Sanctions, Etc Clause in Contracts

Sanctions, Etc. No Borrower will request any Borrowing or Letter of Credit, and no Borrower shall use (and such Borrower shall procure that its Subsidiaries and its or their respective directors, officers, employees, brokers and agents shall not use) the proceeds of any Borrowing or Letter of Credit (A) in furtherance of an offer, payment, promise to pay, or authorization of the payment or giving of money, or anything else of value, to any Person in violation of any Anti-Corruption Laws or Anti-Money Laundering Laws, (B) for the purpose of funding, financing or facilitating any activities, business or transaction of or with any Sanctioned Person, or in any Sanctioned Country, except to the extent permissible for a Person required to comply with Sanctions, or (C) in any other manner that would result in the violation by any Person of any Sanctions. ARTICLE VII

ARTICLE VII.

No The Borrower will shall not request any Borrowing Loan or Letter of Credit, and no the Borrower shall use (not use, and such Borrower shall procure ensure that its Subsidiaries and its or their respective directors, officers, employees, brokers employees and agents shall not use) , the proceeds of any Borrowing Loan or Letter of Credit Credit, directly or indirectly, (Ai) in furtherance of an offer, payment, promise to pay, or authorization of the payment or giving of money, or anything else of value, to any Person in violation of any Anti-Corruption Laws or Anti-Money Laundering Laws, (Bii) for the purpose of funding, financing or facilitating any activities, business or transaction of or with any Sanctioned Person, or in any Sanctioned Country, except to the extent permissible for a Person required to comply with Sanctions, or (Ciii) in any other manner that would result in the violation by any Person of any Sanctions.
