The Sanitary Sewer Relocation clause outlines the requirements and procedures for moving existing sanitary sewer lines to accommodate construction or development activities. Sanitary Sewer Relocation. 1. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ will prepare utility relocation for impacted gravity sanitary sewer lines where feasible. Relocation plans shall consist of a proposed plan alignment and profile as per City of Joplin Standard Specifications and Details. The length for relocation services is estimated to be limited to site boundaries for each improvement area. Relocations outside of the site limits due to pipe slope grades or system improvements shall be considered additional services.
2. Sanitary sewer relocations are shown as optional services and will only be utilized if warranted by the selected alternative.
3. The follow are assumptions for the estimated length of relocation that may be required with this scope of services:
a. 26th Street: Approximately 850 feet of sewer relocation within site limits, if required.
b. 5th and ▇▇▇▇▇▇: Approximately 600 feet of relocation within site limits, if required.
c. Texas Avenue: Approximately 1900 feet of sewer relocation may be required depending on the alignment that is selected for the proposed storm sewer system. It is assumed that drop structures will be feasible on the Texas Avenue trunk line and additional modifications to branch lines will not be required.
