Contractor Communication or Disclosure The Contractor shall not make any public statements, press releases, publicity releases, or other similar communications concerning the Contract or its subject matter or otherwise disclose or permit to be disclosed any of the data or other information obtained or furnished in compliance with the Contract, without first notifying the Customer’s Contract Manager and securing the Customer’s prior written consent.
Confidentiality and Safeguarding of University Records; Press Releases; Public Information Under this Agreement, Contractor may (1) create, (2) receive from or on behalf of University, or (3) have access to, records or record systems (collectively, University Records). However, it is expressly agreed that University will not provide to Contractor, and Contractor will never seek to access, any University Records that contain personally identifiable information regarding any individual that is not available to any requestor under the Texas Public Information Act, Chapter 552, Texas Government Code, including “directory information” of any student who has opted to prohibit the release of their “directory information” as that term is defined under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, 20 USC §1232g (FERPA) and its implementing regulations. RELEASE OF GENERAL INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC AND MEDIA NASA or Partner may, consistent with Federal law and this Agreement, release general information regarding its own participation in this Agreement as desired. Pursuant to Section 841(d) of the NASA Transition Authorization Act of 2017, Public Law 115-10 (the "NTAA"), NASA is obligated to publicly disclose copies of all agreements conducted pursuant to NASA's 51 U.S.C. §20113(e) authority in a searchable format on the NASA website within 60 days after the agreement is signed by the Parties. The Parties acknowledge that a copy of this Agreement will be disclosed, without redactions, in accordance with the NTAA.
Information Release a. Grantee shall keep and maintain public records required by DEO to perform Grantee’s responsibilities hereunder. Grantee shall, upon request from DEO’s custodian of public records, provide DEO with a copy of the requested records or allow the records to be inspected or copied within a reasonable time per the cost structure provided in chapter 119, F.S., and in accordance with all other requirements of chapter 119, F.S., or as otherwise provided by law. Upon expiration or termination of this Agreement, Grantee shall transfer, at no cost, to DEO all public records in possession of Grantee or keep and maintain public records required by DEO to perform the service. If the Grantee keeps and maintains public records upon completion of the Agreement, the Grantee shall meet all applicable requirements for retaining public records. All records stored electronically must be provided to DEO, upon request from the DEO’s custodian of records, in a format that is compatible with the information technology systems of DEO.
