Common use of School-Wide Contract Variances Clause in Contracts

School-Wide Contract Variances. 35 (a) Bargaining unit members may initiate a school-wide contract 36 variance to specific written provisions of the collectively 37 negotiated agreement. Bargaining unit members interested 1 in requesting a contract variance shall consult jointly with the 2 OEA Building Representative and the site administrator to 3 review the school-wide variance procedures and its 4 application to their issue. 5 (b) In the event of a school-wide contract variance, the site 6 administrator, the OEA Building Representative and 7 interested bargaining unit members shall jointly prepare a 8 written request to waive specific provision(s) of the 9 collectively negotiated agreement. The request shall bear 10 the names and signatures of each individual that participated 11 in the drafting of the request.
