Scientific Research. The Parties shall individually or jointly, including in co-operation with appropriate international organisations, promote and, whenever possible, support scientific and technical research programmes related to the root causes and consequences of transboundary haze pollution and the means, methods, techniques and equipment for land and/or forest fire management, including fire fighting.

Scientific Research. The Parties shall promote joint research activities in the field of GNSS through European and Israeli research programmes including the European Community Framework Programme for Research and Development, and the research programmes of the European Space Agency, the Ministry of Science and Technology of Israel and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour of Israel. The joint research activities should contribute to planning the future developments of a GNSS for civil use. The Parties agree to task the Committee under Article 14 to define the appropriate mechanism aimed at ensuring effective contacts and participation in the research programmes.

The Parties shall promote joint GNSS research activities via European and Moroccan research programmes, in particular the European Community Framework Programme for Research and Development, research programmes of the European Space Agency and programmes developed by Moroccan bodies. Joint research activities should contribute to planning the future development of a GNSS for civil use. The Parties agree to define an appropriate mechanism for ensuring useful contacts and effective participation in the research programmes.
Scientific Research. Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent scientific research or the publication of the same by any Party.

Scientific Research. Where appropriate, promote scientific & technical cooperation through commissioning mutually beneficial research projects.
Scientific Research. The Contracting Parties shall individually or in co-operation with other Contracting Parties or appropriate international organizations, promote and, whenever possible, support scientific and technical programmes of relevance to the conservation and management of natural resources, including monitoring, research, the exchange of technical information and the evaluation of results.
Scientific Research. The parties shall support the joint elaboration of research projects in areas which are priority for both Parties and encourage the effective use and implementation of the results of joint research within these projects, complying with the applicable legislation on intellectual property and copyright.
Scientific Research. The Principal Investigator and the Co-Investigators will carry out scientific investigations leading to the publication of results in proceedings of scientific meetings and refereed scientific journals. The investigators will ensure a citation identifying NPP is contained in each publication resulting from work supported by this funding. The CERES IT will provide expertise to the scientific community regarding CERES standard and special data products.
