Common use of SCOPE AND JURISDICTION Clause in Contracts

SCOPE AND JURISDICTION. Section 1. This Agreement shall apply to and cover all employees in the titles of Theatre Technician, Theatre Technician Specialist, and Lead Theatre Technician. This Agreement will cover the work performed by employees in the aforementioned CUNY titles (“bargaining unit”), as specifically set forth in their respective job specifications. Section 2. It is understood and agreed that this Agreement does not apply to or cover any current or future work performed as part of the academic mission of the University. Notwithstanding, such work may be assigned to bargaining unit employees at the discretion of the respective college’s performing arts center’s management.
