Daily Overtime. A) All work in excess of the regularly scheduled work day as specified in Section 2105.51 Work Schedules shall be overtime and compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) the regular rate or as otherwise provided. Overtime shall not be paid twice for the same hours. B) If an employee is requested to report back to work, not contiguous to the beginning or end of the regular shift, the employee shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours overtime pay. Contiguous time for purposes of this paragraph shall include periods within thirty (30) minutes of the regular shift. C) If the employee is requested to report to work two (2) hours or less prior to but contiguous to the start of the shift, the employee shall be guaranteed two (2) hours overtime pay. D) If the employee is requested to report to work more than two (2) but less than four (4) hours prior to but contiguous to the start of the shift, the employee shall be guaranteed four (4) hours overtime pay. E) Employees who receive job related contacts at home shall be guaranteed two (2) hours overtime pay when the call is received between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. or at anytime on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday; all other hours shall be at a one (1) hour guarantee at the overtime rate. Abuse of overtime practices resulting in unnecessary calls shall be subject to discipline.
Daily Overtime. Work in excess of eight (8) hours per day or shift, (but less than twelve [12] hours per day or shift) shall be paid at one and one-half (1½) times the employee’s straight time hourly rate. Work in excess of twelve (12) hours per day or shift shall be paid at two (2) times the employee’s straight time hourly rate. A day is defined as that twenty-four (24) hour period commencing at midnight.

Daily Overtime. Daily overtime shall be in accordance with Article 8.1 (subject to Daily Hours referenced above), such that the first two (2) hours of daily overtime are paid at one and one-half times (1½X) the rate for the classification in which the employee is working at the time, and double time (2X) for all hours worked thereafter. Any overtime hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in a week would be paid at one and one-half times (1½X) for the first two (2) hours, and double time (2X) for weekly overtime hours worked thereafter. It being understood that any hours for which overtime was paid on a daily basis would be excluded from the calculation with respect to weekly overtime (i.e., no double counting of hours for which overtime has already been paid). For those employees who work on a compressed work week schedule, weekly overtime shall not be paid until such time as an employee has worked in excess of a Regular Full-Time Employee's weekly shift. For purposes of the weekly overtime computation the last hours worked in the work week shall be those considered for determining the rate used in computing any overtime owed.
Daily Overtime. (a) For the purpose of this Article, overtime is paid to an employee for approved time worked outside of or in excess of regular scheduled hours for the day at the rate of one and one-half times (1½X) the regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours worked thereafter in any one day and double time (2X) for all hours worked thereafter in any one day. Ten (10) hours shifts shall be double time (2X) for all hours worked beyond their regular scheduled hours for the day.

Daily Overtime. An employee who has worked eight (8) hours at his applicable hourly rate in any twenty-four (24) hour period will be paid at the overtime rate for any additional time worked in such period, except where the additional time worked is due to his regularly scheduled change of shift. 13.06 a) An employee who has worked forty (40) hours at his applicable hourly rate in his work week will be paid at the overtime rate for any additional time worked in such week less amounts paid to him pursuant to the immediately preceding paragraph of this Article.
