Common use of Scope of Supply Clause in Contracts

Scope of Supply. a) Subject to the provisions in the bidding document and contract, the goods and related services to be supplied shall be as specified in the bidding document. b) Unless otherwise stipulated in the Contract, the scope of supply shall include all such items not specifically mentioned in the Contract but that can be reasonably inferred from the Contract as being required for attaining delivery and completion of the goods and related services as if such items were expressly mentioned in the Contract. c) The bidder shall not quote and supply and hardware/ software that is likely to be declared as End of Sale in next 6 months and End of Service/ Support for a period of 5 Years from the last date of bid submission. OEMs are required to mention this in the MAF for all the quoted hardware/ software. If any of the hardware/ software is found to be declared as End of Sale/ Service/ Support, then the bidder shall replace all such hardware/ software with the latest ones having equivalent or higher specifications without any financial obligation to the purchaser.
