Common use of SEAWORTHINESS Clause in Contracts

SEAWORTHINESS. Save for periods when the Ship is in dry-dock, the Lessee shall procure that the Ship should at all times be fit to go to sea without serious danger to human life (by reason of the condition, or the unsuitability for its purpose, of either the Ship or its machinery or equipment or any part of the Ship or its machinery or equipment or undermanning or overloading or unsafe or improper loading or any other matter relevant to the safety of the Ship).
