Common use of Secondary liability vis-a-vis Clause in Contracts

Secondary liability vis-a-vis. third parties If the insured person has a claim to benefits vis-a-vis a third party, the insurer is only required to provide payments for expenses that exceed the third party's payments. The insurer does not provide compensation insofar as a benefit from another insurance contract can be claimed for the damages. This provision does not include death and disability benefits under the transport and traveller's accident insurance.
