Common use of Secondary School Pupil-Teacher Ratio Clause in Contracts

Secondary School Pupil-Teacher Ratio. It shall be the policy of the Board to maintain a ratio of thirty (30) pupils to one (1) teacher in the junior high schools and twenty-five (25) pupils to one (1) teacher in the senior high schools. In computing pupil-teacher ratio, all professional employees shall be counted as teachers. Insofar as possible the maximum class size in the secondary schools shall be thirty-five (35).
