Common use of SECTION 101 Clause in Contracts

SECTION 101. 16 The seniority of an employee within the bargaining unit shall be established as of the date on which the 17 employee began continuous daily employment (hereinafter "hire date") unless such seniority shall be 18 lost as hereinafter provided.

Seniority of employees with identical hire dates shall be determined, within the 22 group, by a number drawing. The number one (1) represents the most senior position within the group.
