Section 1412. 7 The maximum approved ratio of apprentice to journey level employees shall be one-to-one. If at 8 any time, those requesting apprentice status exceeds the one-to-one ratio, employees shall be 9 selected based upon seniority.
Section 1412. 15 If the temporary position continues through the end of the school year, District medical 16 insurance will be continued through the month of September only, if the position generates 17 benefit funding. After that point, the "COBRA" law goes into effect. If the position ends 18 other than the end of the school year, the District medical insurance will only be in effect 19 for a period of thirty (30) days, depending on the ending date of the position, when the 20 "COBRA" law will go into effect.
Section 1412. 2 Seniority preference consistent with Section 11.7. shall be applied to training opportunities with 3 limited slots. Exceptions to this would include unique, extenuating circumstances of program or 4 personnel needs.

Section 1412. 40 The APF shall be divided on a percentage basis and will be distributed November through 41 October. 42
Section 1412. 33 The District shall pay all costs unique to the Commercial Drivers Licensing Program (C.D.L.), 34 thereafter the District will pay for required testing not covered by driver acts.
Section 1412. 20 Discussions and negotiations in the handling of grievances, formally or informally, shall take 21 place whenever feasible during the District's business hours.
Section 1412. 33 All classified employees who have the requirement of certification in CPR/First Aid in their job 34 description will be paid for the time they are in a district approved CPR class, scheduled by the district.
Section 1412. 45 Eligible employee(s) may choose from the medical plans offered by the District and agreed 46 upon by the District and the Association. All employees who are eligible for dental and/or 47 vision must be enrolled.
