SECTION 1613. Transportation must be cleared with the school district management so as to pool rides as much 3 as possible. SECTION 1613. 32 All regular wages will be paid over a 12-month period, i.e., September 1 to August 31. Pay will 33 be received on the last weekday (exclusive of a holiday) of every month. Payroll errors 34 resulting in an underpayment shall be corrected no later than the next regularly scheduled 35 payday following discovery of the error. Payroll errors resulting in an overpayment shall be 36 corrected following a meeting with the involved staff member where payment arrangements 37 will be determined. Attending the meeting does not relinquish the employee’s right to due 38 process nor is it an admission that an overpayment occurred. 39

SECTION 1613. Employees who retire/quit and return as substitutes will be paid on the salary schedule with 6 credit for their years of service with the school district. Based on the employees employment 7 record with the school district subject to their employment.
SECTION 1613. In calculating an employee's longevity for purposes of vacation and the hourly longevity increase, 14 the District will use the date the employee was hired by the District in a regular position (includes 15 temporary positions, does not include substitute positions). If a person's employment has been 16 interrupted by a work-related injury or a lay-off, that person's longevity will continue to accrue as 17 if there was no interruption of service. Longevity rights of an employee shall be lost for the 18 following reasons: 20 A. Resignation, 21 B. Discharge or 22 C. Retirement.
