Section Four The State shall deduct the agency service fee biweekly from the paycheck of each employee who is required under C.G.S. 5-280 to pay such a fee as a condition of employment, provided, however, no such payment shall be required of an employee whose membership is terminated for reasons other than nonpayment of Union dues or who objects to payment of such fee based on the tenets of a religious sect. The amount of agency service fee shall not exceed the minimum applicable dues and/or assessments payable to the exclusive bargaining agent.
Section Nine The Union shall indemnify the State for any liability or damages incurred by the State in compliance with this Article.
Section I Definitions
Paragraph Captions The captions of the paragraphs and sections are set forth only for the convenience and reference of the Parties and are not intended in any way to define, limit or describe the scope or intent of this Agreement.
Section 4.3 12 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein to 13 appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington State Organization.

Salary Schedule The salaries of employees covered by this agreement are set forth in the salary schedule in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated into this agreement.
Schedule of Rates and Charges Any subconsultant rates and charges set forth in the Schedule of Rates and Charges must be the subconsultant’s actual rates and charges exclusive of any markup. The City will compensate the Consultant in accordance with those rates and charges.
Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.
Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V. (b) Salary schedules will contain Career Enhancement/Growth steps as described in Section 45.6.
