Common use of Sector Manager Authority Clause in Contracts

Sector Manager Authority. Members agree and acknowledge that the Sector Manager shall have the authority to monitor the fishing, fish offload, and fish sale activities of the Members and all Participating Vessels and to take such other actions as may be necessary, to ensure compliance by the Members, their Permits and Participating Vessels with this Agreement and all other Sector requirements as may be adopted under the terms of this Agreement, the Sector Operations Plan, the Sector’s Bylaws, Sector Board Policy and all other applicable laws, rules and regulations. Such actions to enforce this Agreement, subject to the authority of the Board or a committee delegated thereby, the Sector’s Bylaws or any other agreement relating to the Sector’s internal governance, including specifically, without limitation, the authority to impose penalties set forth in the Schedule of Penalties as well as Stop Fishing Orders which may be enforced by NMFS Office of Law Enforcement. The Manager shall also act as the liaison between NMFS and the Sector and shall assist Members in their dealings with NMFS if so requested.
