Secure tenants only. We would have to show that we have valid reasons to evict or demote your tenancy. These are called ‘grounds’ and are defined by law. You would have the right to put your case at a court hearing. Before going to court we would usually have to serve you with a Notice of Intention to seek Possession or Notice of Intention to Demote your tenancy setting out our reasons for serving the Notice.
