  • STATUTORY PENALTY FOR INADEQUATE QUALIFIED INVESTMENT Pursuant to Section 313.0275 of the TEXAS TAX CODE, in the event that the Applicant fails to make $10,000,000 of Qualified Investment, in whole or in part, during the Qualifying Time Period, the Applicant is liable to the State for a penalty. The Resident must also take positive steps to ensure their safety by locking Room doors, and ensuring that only authorized persons enter their Room, suite and/or the building.
