Common use of Selection of Coaches Clause in Contracts

Selection of Coaches. A. Candidates for varsity head coaching positions shall be screened and interviewed by the principal, and/or unit Athletic Director and a parent of a participant in the affected sport; final recommendation shall be made by the principal. The recommendations of the principal will be sent to the Director of Athletics, Health and Physical Education for approval and submission to the Human Resources Department. Only a certificated person may be hired as a varsity head coach.
