Selection of Presidents’ Day, Good Friday, Veteran’s Day and Floating Holiday Not later than January 20, employees shall inform their immediate supervisor as to which three of these four Holidays they wish to observe in that year. To the extent that service requirements permit, employees will be afforded the Holidays of their choice. The work group for selection purposes shall generally be the same as the work group used for vacation selections under A7.012. The selections made by employees under the provisions of this Subsection shall not be subject to change except that service requirements or work load may require that employees work on the days they have selected as their Holidays. Floating Holidays, once granted, will not normally be subject to change. However, at the employee’s request and subject to the requirements of the business as determined by management, employees may change a scheduled Floating Holiday. Employees hired after September 30 in any calendar year shall not be eligible for a Floating Holiday in that calendar year.

  • BUY AMERICA REQUIREMENT (Applies only to Federally Funded Highway and Transit Projects) With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded highway projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 23 U.S.C. Section 313, 23 C.F.R. Section 635.410, as amended, and the Steel and Iron Preference provisions of Texas Transportation Code Section 223.045, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. With respect to products purchased by Customer for use in federally funded transit projects, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such projects, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 49 U.S.C. Section 5323(j)(1), 49 C.F.R. Sections 661.6 or 661.12, to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs.

  • Termination of Agreement for Unavailability of Authority or Federal Funds It is the intent and understanding of the Parties that this Agreement is contingent upon the availability of Authority or Federal funds or the receipt by the Authority of Federal funds. If Authority funds or Federal funds approved or obligated by the Authority in connection with this Agreement are at any time rendered unavailable, the Authority shall then have the right to terminate this Agreement by the giving of a written notice, the basis, and the effective date of the termination to the Contractor. Should this Agreement be terminated by reason of the unavailability of Authority or Federal funds for the purposes of this Agreement, all finished or unfinished documents, data, studies, reports, and other materials prepared by the Contractor under this Agreement prior to the effective date of the termination shall be delivered in a format specified by the Authority. In the event of termination under this section for lack of Authority or Federal funds, the Contractor shall be entitled to receive payment for Products and Services incurred under this Agreement prior to the effective date of termination.

  • Comptroller General Examination of Record The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of this paragraph (d) if this contract was awarded using other than sealed bid, is in excess of the simplified acquisition threshold, as defined in FAR 2.101, on the date of award of this contract, and does not contain the clause at 52.215-2, Audit and Records-Negotiation.

  • PRICING OF Regular Hours Coefficient What is your regular hours coefficient for the RS Means Price Book? Remember that this is a ceiling price proposed. You can discount lower than your proposed contract coefficient, but not higher. This is one of three pricing questions that are required for consideration for award on this solicitation.   • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Traditional IRA-to-Xxxx XXX Conversions If you convert to a Xxxx XXX, the amount of the conversion from your Traditional IRA to your Xxxx XXX will be treated as a distribution for income tax purposes, and is includible in your gross income (except for any nondeductible contributions).   • VISIBILITY OF FUNDING FROM THE OFFICIAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE Unless the SAIDC requests or agrees otherwise, any communication or publication made by the Final Beneficiary that relates to the action, including at conferences, seminars or in any information or promotional materials (such as brochures, leaflets, posters, presentations in electronic form, etc.), including tangible assets acquired from the project must: (a) indicate that the action has received funding from the Official Development Assistance, SlovakAid and (b) display the SlovakAid logo. When displayed in association with another logo, the SlovakAid logo must have appropriate prominence. The obligation to display the SlovakAid logo does not confer on the Final Beneficiary a right of exclusive use. The Final Beneficiary may not appropriate the SlovakAid logo or any similar trademark or logo, either by registration or by any other means. For the purposes of the first, second and third subparagraphs and under the conditions specified therein, the Final Beneficiary may use the SlovakAid logo without first obtaining permission from the SAIDC.
