SELECTION, TERM AND REMOVAL OF DIVISION CHAIRS. a. Division Chairs shall be elected from among the tenured and probationary faculty of the Division for a term of three years commencing on the first day of July next following the election. To qualify as a candidate for Division Chair a faculty member must have served as a tenured or probationary faculty member in the District for at least two years. In addition, each candidate for Division Chair, even if running unopposed, shall complete a statement of candidacy on a form prescribed by the District and submit the statement to the CEO or his or her designee so that it can be made available to the faculty of the Division at the time of the election.
