Common use of SEPARABILITY & SAVINGS Clause in Contracts

SEPARABILITY & SAVINGS. 20.1 It is hereby declared to be the intention of the parties to this Agreement that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this Agreement are separable and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this Agreement shall be declared invalid by the valid judgment or decree of a court of competent jurisdiction because of the conflict with any Federal or Washington State law, such invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this Agreement and the balance of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
