SEPARATION FROM JUDICIAL BRANCH EMPLOYMENT (2019). Section 1. Required Notice (2019) All employees will be expected to provide a written notification of their intent to resign in good standing. Good standing shall be defined as the employee giving a written ten (10) working day notice in advance of the last day actually worked, and the employee actually working for the duration of the ten (10) working day notice period. Failure to provide ten (10) working days' notice prior to separation may be grounds for denial of accrued leave payouts. No vacation, personal or compensatory leave shall be taken during the ten (10) working day notice. The only exceptions to this are for a) those taking vacation, personal, or compensatory leave that was scheduled prior to the ten (10) working day notice; or b) those employees who are on an approved medical leave and are not medically able to work prior to the ten (10) working day notice. Any employee who has resigned in good standing may withdraw said resignation, subject to the approval of the selecting authority.

  • Separation from Employment Employees who leave the District with a vacation balance shall have their vacation balance cashed out. If vacation is loaded on July 1st, the vacation balance shall be pro-rated prior to cash out.

  • Separation from Service A termination of employment shall not be deemed to have occurred for purposes of any provision of this Agreement providing for the payment of any amounts or benefits upon or following a termination of employment unless such termination also constitutes a “Separation from Service” within the meaning of Section 409A and, for purposes of any such provision of this Agreement, references to a “termination,” “termination of employment,” “separation from service” or like terms shall mean Separation from Service.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT A. This Contract shall terminate, the Superintendent's employment will cease, and no compensation shall thereafter be paid, under any one of the following circumstances:

  • Retirement Severance (a) Upon qualification for benefits in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System the retiring bus driver shall be paid for all unused sick leave days at a rate that is 50% of the current rate based on the current bid route time. The retiree after 10 or more consecutive years of service will receive 75% of the above amount. Bus monitors who meet the MPSERS qualification shall be paid for all unused equivalent sick leave days at a rate of $15 per day. This will not apply to discharged employees.
