Service Provider Relationship. Both parties expressly acknowledge and agree that in the performance of Services under this Agreement, Service Provider is an independent contractor and is not an employee, agent, or officer of the University. Service Provider shall have no authority to, and shall not, incur any debt, obligation or liability on behalf of the University.

While Service Provider may be required by this Agreement to carry Worker’s Compensation Insurance, in no event shall Service Provider, its employees or agents be entitled to unemployment or workers’ compensation benefits from the University.
