Common use of Service Severance Clause in Contracts

Service Severance. Employees terminated from the service of the Employer by way of a non- culpable termination shall be paid three (3) days' pay for each calendar year of service up to, and including, the sixth (6th) year, and four (4) days' pay per calendar year of service for the seventh (7th) and subsequent years. Part-time service shall be calculated on a pro rata basis.
