SEVERABILITY, CONSTRUCTION AND CONFORMANCE TO STATUTE. If any provision contained in this Policy is, for any reason, held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, it is deemed to be severed and to have no effect on any other valid legal and enforceable provision of this Policy. If any provision contained in this Policy can be construed as being invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, it will be construed by limiting it so as to be valid, legal, and enforceable to the extent compatible with applicable law. Any provisions of this Policy which are in conflict with the statutes or regulations of the state or country wherein this Policy is issued are hereby amended to conform to such statutes or regulations.
