SHORTAGE, DAMAGES & DEMMURAGES ETC. Any shortage or damages etc. reported by the consignee shall be made good/replaced within 30 days of receipt of intimation from the DDO's. The consignee will take open delivery of the consignments found damaged at the time of taking delivery. In case of shortages found in such cases,shortage certificates will be obtained by the consignee from the carrier and submitted to you. Any demmurages/wharfages payable due to your fault will be to your account.
