SICK LEAVE FOR DEATH OR CATASTROPHIC ILLNESS. In the event of death or catastrophic illness of a new employee’s immediate family, the new employee will be advanced up to three (3) sick leave days to a new ESP employee during the first 90 days of employment. After the first ninety days, the employee will have earned three (3) sick leave days which will then be applied to the prior absence.
