The College is committed to a face-to-face consultative process for assigning annual faculty workloads. Consultation meetings are to be scheduled annually between the department head and each program subgroup, normally by May 31 of each year, in preparation for the following academic year, providing a forum for faculty discussion of course offerings, program issues, workload preferences, and other recommendations for consideration by the department head. Section 11.2 The administrative contract will be a twelve-month contract commencing July 1 of each year to June 30 of the following year. Section 11.3 It will be the responsibility of the building principal to work with his/her supervisor when modifying the contracted work calendar. If a substitute is required, the cost of the substitute will be paid by the administrator. Principals will notify their immediate supervisor in advance of using vacation days. It will be the responsibility of each administrator to submit a time-off request via Skyward.
Section 11.4 All compensation on a per diem basis shall be based on 1/221 of the annual salary for elementary and secondary administrators. Deduction of salary for uncompleted contract will be based on 1/221 per day of the annual contract for elementary and secondary administrators.

Duty Schedule. (a) The principal of each school shall be responsible for determining the non-classroom supervision or monitoring of students, and the number of employees required to perform such duty. The Duty Schedule Committee, appointed by the Federation, at each school shall be given the opportunity to prepare a duty schedule for that school consistent with the principal's determination. The principal shall not arbitrarily or unreasonably reject a duty schedule proposed by this Committee nor arbitrarily or unreasonably determine the nature of extra duty required and the number of employees required to perform such duty. In the event the principal rejects a duty schedule proposed by the Duty Schedule Committee or if the Committee chooses not to prepare one, the principal shall ensure an equitable distribution of duty.
(b) Duty for all itinerant teachers may be assigned only at their home-based schools. Section 9:07 - Eleven- and Twelve-Month Positions - Assessment Teachers/Psychologists/Social Workers Assessment teachers, psychologists and social workers shall have the right to apply for 11- and 12- month positions for which they are certified. No outside personnel shall be contracted for appraisal purposes or evaluations before incumbent assessment teachers, psychologists and social workers are offered the necessary positions on an extended employment basis.
