Simulation of the transactions in the HANDLE‐enabled environment The Smart Office application is made up of a number of processes in the ServiceNet. The following interactions with HANDLE and the various IoT services (part of the Smart Office application) take place. The description below is the way the simulation of the scenario is implemented. Deliberately we are simulating the actions of the physical devices, with an emphasis on showing what is occurring with lights. This will be demonstrated at the Final Review. In the scenario for the Smart Office, a person wants to enter a room. If he or she is authorised to enter, the system will allow the door to be opened, will put on the lights and send a setting to the HVAC. The system will monitor the temperature; if it goes too high, it will change the HVAC settings. A presence sensor checks if there is anyone in the room. When this indicates that there is nobody present, it will shut down lights, etc., and return to the room entry condition. In the demonstration, we will simulate the Smart Office scenario without using the real devices, but use the full real HANDLE infrastructure. We will also simplify the granularity of the authorisation used, and the complexity of setting up the office equipment Handles. However, all operations on devices will be based on authorised operations, and all sensor reading on authenticated sensors. The demonstration will show how a generic application has to be set up for a particular room depending on the services available in that room, and how this set up would be authorised.

  • Implementation of the Report 1. The Panel report shall be final and binding on the disputing Parties. 2. The Parties shall agree on reasonable period of time within 30 days of the notification of the report of the Panel.   • Recurring Transactions If you intend to use the Card for recurring transactions, you should monitor your Balance and ensure you have funds available in your Card Account to cover the transactions. “Recurring transactions” are transactions that are authorized in advance by you to be charged to your Card at substantially regular intervals. We are not responsible if a recurring transaction is declined because you have not maintained a sufficient Balance in your Card Account to cover the transaction. If these recurring transactions may vary in amount, the person or merchant you are going to pay should tell you, 10 days before each payment, when it will be made and how much it will be. You may choose instead to get this notice only when the payment would differ by more than a certain amount from the previous payment, or when the amount would fall outside certain limits that you set with that person or merchant. If you have told us in advance to make regular payments (i.e., Recurring Transactions) from your Card Account, you can stop the payment by notifying us orally or in writing at least three (3) Business Days before the scheduled date of the transfer. If you call, we also may require you to put your request in writing and get it to us within 14 days after you call. If you order us to stop one of these payments three (3) Business Days or more before the transfer is scheduled, and we do not do so, we will be liable for your losses or damages. If you have authorized a merchant to make the recurring payment, you should also contact the applicable merchant in order to stop the transaction. Fraudulent Card Account Activity. We may block or cancel your Card Account if, as a result of our policies and procedures, we reasonably believe your Card Account is being used for fraudulent, suspicious, or criminal activity or any activity that is inconsistent with this Agreement. We will incur no liability because of the unavailability of the funds that may be associated with your Card Account.

  • PROCEDURES FOR ADDRESSING UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS AND OTHER TRANSACTION PROBLEMS In the event of a problem with a Debit Card transaction, or unauthorized Debit Card transaction, other than a matter related to goods or services provided by Merchants, I will report the issue promptly to my Credit Union and the Credit Union will investigate and respond to the issue on a timely basis. My Credit Union will not unreasonably restrict me from the use of any funds subject to dispute, if it is reasonably evident that I did not contribute to the problem or unauthorized transaction. My Credit Union will respond to my report of a problem or unauthorized transaction within 10 business days and will indicate what reimbursement, if any, will be made for any loss incurred by me. Reimbursement will be made for losses from a problem or unauthorized use in this time frame if it is evident that I did not contribute knowingly to the problem or unauthorized transaction and that I took reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of my PIN or Passcode. An extension of the 10-day limit may be necessary if my Credit Union requires me to provide a written statement or affidavit to aid its investigation.
