Singular Projects. The Singular Projects are conceived to facilitate the participatory processes and decision making over the whole structure of coordination and participation of the project. The singular projects will have the following characteristics: a clear diagnosis, proposal of alternatives, easy understanding, prospective nature, etc. These are conceived as flexible tools to make a diagnosis and propose possible solutions over specific issues affecting the Levante de Almeria area (i.e. water resources, waste, sustainable tourism, fishing, etc). The singular projects can contribute also to the elaboration or evaluation of an initiative (i.e. SPAMI Management Plan, Evaluation of the acquisition of land for the protection of the coastal environment, etc) proposed by any of the administrations, to be discussed inside the organisational structure of the institutional coordination and social participation framework. The singular projects have two different origins: a set of projects that arose from the participatory processes during the CAMP Levante de Almeria Feasibility Study phase; and the singular projects proposed by MAP, which will be set up, carried out, and financed by the MAP Components. It is to be stressed the flexible nature of the singular projects outlined here and these should be treated as indication of what it is intended to be achieved, subject to modification by the Steering Committee if needed. The following sections will describe a number of Singular Projects, giving an indication of what is to be done during the CAMP Levante de Almeria project.
