Common use of Site Clean Up Clause in Contracts

Site Clean Up. a. The CONTRACTOR shall keep the premises free at all times from accumulation of waste materials and rubbish caused by construction operations and employees. b. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all refuse containers required for the Work and will arrange for the periodic removal and emptying of the same. c. The CONTRACTOR shall perform final cleanup prior to OWNER'S acceptance of the Work. The final cleanup shall include: i. Removal of dirt and unsightly substances from all visible surfaces and areas. ii. Removal of CONTRACTOR'S temporary structures, tools, equipment, supplies and surplus materials. iii. Repair of roads, walks, fences and other items damaged or deteriorated because of CONTRACTOR'S operations. iv. Grading, raking, smoothing, replacing vegetation and other operations necessary to restore to original or better condition all areas affected by CONTRACTOR'S operations. v. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for disposing of all waste materials and rubbish generated (paint, waste, etc) off site in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and ordinances.
