SIX RIVERS NATIONAL FOREST. This COOPERATIVE FIRE PROTECTION AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the Fort Dick Fire Protection District, hereinafter referred to as the Department, and the USDA, Forest Service Six Rivers National Forest, hereinafter referred to as the “U.S. Forest Service,” under the authority and provisions of: Reciprocal Fire Protection Act of May 27, 1955 (42 U.S.C. 1856a), Xxxxxxx-Xxxx Act of April 24, 1950 (16 USC 572), and Cooperative Funds and Deposits Act of December 12, 1975, P. L. 94-148, (16 U.S.C. 565a1 – a3), as amended by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2008 P. L. 110-161 and the Omnibus Public Lands Act, P.L. 111- 11, Sec 3001.
