Health Services. At the time of employment and subject to (b) above, full credit for registered professional nursing experience in a school program shall be given. Full credit for registered professional nursing experience may be given, subject to approval by the Human Resources Division. Non-degree nurses shall be placed on the BA Track of the Teachers Salary Schedule and shall be ineligible for movement to any other track.
Health Services. Ongoing, routine pediatric, women’s health and obstetric care (such as infant and childcare and prenatal and postpartum examinations) or referral for treatment.
Health Services. Any injury occurring to a worker while on duty must be reported to the campus Health Services or Human Resources within 24 hours or Workers Compensation claims may be denied.
Health Services. The Employer will make health service available for the treatment of job-related injury or illness where it determines they are needed. The health service will be available from any of the following sources: U.S. Public Health Service; other government or public medical sources within the area; independent or private medical facilities or services that can be contracted for; or in the event funds, spaces, and personnel are available for such purposes, they may be staffed at the installation. The Employer will promulgate appropriate regulations which comply with applicable regu- lations of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, including employee choice of health services.
Health Services. Those items and services provided by Participating Providers as an alternative to hospitalization, and coordinated and pre-authorized by HMO. • Hospice Care. A program of care that is provided by a Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility, hospice, or a duly licensed Hospice Care agency, and is approved by HMO, and is focused on a palliative rather than curative treatment for Members who have a medical condition and a prognosis of less than 6 months to live. • Hospital(s). An institution rendering inpatient and outpatient services, accredited as a Hospital by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, the Bureau of Hospitals of the American Osteopathic Association, or as otherwise determined by HMO as meeting reasonable standards. A Hospital may be a general, acute care, rehabilitation or specialty institution.
Health Services. The services of all Hospital Ambulatory Services, as well as Employee and Occupational Health Services (EOHS), are available to House Officers subject to Hospital policies and the requirements and/or limitations of the health insurance coverage selected by the House Officer.
Health Services. Any Association member required to provide school health services shall be offered appropriate training regarding the act or functions delegated to him/her.
Health Services. 1. The Agency shall establish and maintain an Occupational Health Services and Preventive Medicine Program as provided for in 5 USC Chapter 79 and other applicable laws, rules and regulations.
2. An employee’s medical record may be disclosed without their consent in accordance with DoD 5400.11-R C4.2, as long as the individual requesting access has an official need for the record, articulates in detail why the records are required, the intended use of the record relates to the subject matter for which it is maintained, and only the minimal amount of information required is disclosed. The entire record is not released if only a part of the record will suffice. A requestor’s rank, position, or title alone does not authorize access to personal information about others, including their medical record.
3. The Agency shall host “Health Benefits Seminars” in support of the annual benefits open season period. During these seminars, representatives from major insurance providers will be made available to provide employees information regarding their benefit plans. Dates and locations will be determined by the Agency. Employees will be made aware of these seminars as far in advance as possible, and will be allowed excused absence to attend.
Health Services.
A. The District will sponsor two (2) First Aide/CPR Training sessions a year.
B. If a Bargaining Unit member is required to be certified to administer emergency first aide and/or CPR, the employee can attend, at no cost to the employee, one (1) of two (2) training sessions sponsored by the District.
C. Employees will not be required to perform medical services which state or federal law requires a specific license or certificate to perform, unless the employee currently holds the appropriate license or certificate.
D. All employees are required to administer and/or provide health or medical services, in conformance with District established policies and procedures. The District will provide copies of relevant policies and procedures to each employee at the beginning of each school year.
Health Services. By entering into this Agreement, you have priority access to all of XxXxxx’x levels of care and health care services. XxXxxx’x care coordination services staff will work with you, your designated family members, and/or physician (as more fully described in Section II.B.8, above) on services you may need for temporary care or for a permanent change in your level of care. Should you need health services outside of your Residence, at another level of care, you will have priority access to the next available, appropriate residence or bed. While you reside in your Residence, you are responsible for making arrangements to meet your health care needs. You agree to keep XxXxxx informed of any changes in your condition.
A. Services while you are a Resident of The Village
1. While you reside in your Residence, you will have access to XxXxxx’x care coordination services plan described above. Further, XxXxxx staff will observe your health status to identify and help you respond to your dietary, social and health care needs and will provide you with consultations regarding social and health-related issues.
2. A free health clinic performing health screening, blood pressure monitoring, and weight and diet checks is offered monthly in the Village.
3. XxXxxx Home Care and Hospice provides skilled nursing, therapy, and social work services in your Residence for additional fees or charges, if ordered by a physician. You have the right to contract with any licensed home health care agency or caregiver of your choice. If you choose to engage another agency or caregiver to provide services at your Residence, you must inform XxXxxx of the caregiver within twenty-four (24) hours of the arrangement and comply with XxXxxx’x policies for private duty assistance, including sign-in procedures and the need to move to assisted living or skilled care if you need ongoing, daily activities-of-daily-living assistance.
4. The McLean USA Program is designed specifically for those in the Village who would benefit from a few hours of assistance a week, but who are not yet ready for assisted living. Certified Nursing Assistant services are provided through an exclusive partnership with Brightstar. The USA Program offers three (3) levels of services.
5. If you are interested in ordering from the pharmacy that serves the Health Center, contact the Village office. Medication through this service is delivered to your door. Please note that XxXxxx staff may not sign for medications.
