Sleep Studies. 1. Coverage is provided for electro-diagnostic tests used to diagnose sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea. These tests may also be used to help adjust a treatment plan for a sleep disorder that has been previously diagnosed. These tests may be done at home, freestanding facilities, outpatient hospital facilities, or at a sleep disorder unit within a hospital. 2.
