Software Add-ons Clause Samples

The Software Add-ons clause defines the terms under which additional software components or modules, not included in the base product, may be provided or licensed. Typically, this clause outlines whether such add-ons are included in the original agreement, require separate purchase, or are subject to different licensing terms. For example, it may specify that certain features or integrations are available for an extra fee or under a separate agreement. The core function of this clause is to clarify the rights and obligations regarding supplementary software, preventing misunderstandings about what is included and managing expectations about future enhancements or expansions.
